All About PVD Glitter
All glitter listed on the site is polyester (not craft glitter) and solvent resistant.
This glitter is certified as FDA compliant, phthalate free, non-toxic, and solvent resistant by the manufacturers, making it safe and suitable for use by everyone.
All glitter is sold in 2 oz increments *by weight, not volume* in resealable plastic baggies, unless otherwise noted.
The PVD Team tests each type of glitter in an epoxy base before listing it on the site. However, it is not possible for us to test all solvents. Please test before use if you are unsure about your solvent.
All glitter is precision hex-cut unless otherwise stated in the item description.
We do our best to provide the highest quality pictures that will accurately show the glitter's true color; however, different monitors and your screen settings may slightly alter how the color appears. (Also, it's incredibly hard to capture the glitter's true sparkle in a photo!!!)
We do not manufacture this glitter. As stated by the manufacturers: they do their best to contain contamination of one glitter into another. Very, VERY rarely there may be sparkles in the glitter that do not belong. The Quality Control Team at PVD Glitter tries their best to catch these slight mishaps before the glitter ever makes it onto our shelves to be listed for sale.
As stated by the manufacturers regarding certain iridescent glitters: the iridescent effect is created by using multiple layers of film. Interference of light from the supplier end may cause color variation for each batch. In the words of the PVD Glitter Team - it's possible that certain iridescent batches may slightly differ. We will let you know if there is a noticeable difference. If we feel the difference is too great, we will not sell the glitter as intended. It will likely be marked down in price, and noted that the batch was flawed.
Anything listed as "Custom Mixed" or "Chunky Mix" is mixed by the PVD Glitter Team and not the manufacturer. We measure each batch, but as with anything custom created, it's possible to have slight variations.
